PATRICK MORIN

Pat Morin was an accomplished celebrity photographer, capturing famous figures ranging from Charles De Gaulle and Enrich Von Stroheim to Grace Kelly, Jean Cocteau, Kirk Douglas, Gina Lollobrigida, Anouk Aimee and Marcello Mastroianni.

Morin is best known for staging the first iconic half-naked-in-Cannes image of Bardot in 1953. Before the term paparazzi had even been invented, Bardot sunbathing on a beach in Cannes drew in an ogling swarm of photographers. This whole fiasco captured by Morin and Bardot's husband, Roger Vadim, who stage-managed her provocative photo shoot.
