Head and Neck by Tony Bevan

Tony Bevan often draws attention to the neck and wrists and to the vulnerable male body. In this series of heads he draws particular attention to the neck, extending it to provide an armature for the head that recalls Francis Bacon's Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion (1944).
